Frequently Asked Questions
Can I take a boat out every day?
Absolutely! There is no limit to how many times you can go out. If you're a gold member, simply ensure that the day you want to go boating isn't included on our blackout date calendar
Is gas included?
No. The average burn rate is about $15 per hour on most of our boats.
Do I need boating experience?
It's not a requirement, but we encourage our club members to ask us for as much training as they need. We will take the necessary time to go over docking, the controls, and signs on the water. We want to make sure that everyone is safe.
Do I need to take any special courses?
By Florida law, anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, who operates a vessel powered by 10 horsepower or more must pass an approved boater safety course. You must have in your possession photographic identification and a boating safety education identification card issued by the FWC. Alternatively, you can get a temporary Florida boater education certificate issued by an authorized vendor. We can provide the temporary certificate at our location.
Should I make a reservation?
Yes! Although we have the largest rental fleet in Florida, without a reservation it is difficult to give you the best service possible.
Can I keep a boat overnight?
Unfortunately, for liability and insurance reasons, you cannot keep a boat overnight.
Can I keep the boat all day?
That depends! The agreement is UNLIMITED HALF DAY RENTALS. However, if another club member has not reserved your boat, you can keep it all day.
What are your hours of operation?
Club members have special hours. You can take a boat as early as 30 minutes after sunrise and return as late as 30 minutes before sunset.
Can I try before I buy?
Absolutely. Take a boat out and explore the area to make sure it’s right for you. We will charge you for the boat rental for the day. If you join the club within seven days of your rental, we will apply the entire rental cost towards your new club membership. There's no risk to you!
How long have you been in business?
We bought out another boat company eight years ago. The previous owner was in business for over twenty years and was very well established with a great reputation. We have since expanded and run a 100% debt free operation.
